Number One didn’t get nearly as much screentime as Anson Mount’s Pike or Ethan Peck’s Spock, and it’s possible that with Star Trek: Strange New Worlds largely episodic format, her character arcs may not be quite as fleshed out. Even so, classic shows like Star Trek: The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine were able to do great character development despite being largely episodic, so I would imagine Strange New Worlds can get pretty deep with Number One’s story.
